Our transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) service is for people who:
- Are aged over 18 years
- Live anywhere in the northwest of England including Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside or Cumbria. We're really happy to accept referrals from anywhere in the country or abroad, but you would need to travel to our clinic in Oldham, Greater Manchester
- Have a diagnosis of depression (you may have other conditions too) that is resistant to treatment. This means you haven’t benefitted from antidepressants, or other therapies, they aren’t appropriate for you, or you don't wish to try these
- Are able to give informed consent
